Meet Trigenics®: The Neurologic “Reset” We’re Using to Fix Stubborn Shoulders, Knees & Hips—Fast

Today, we’re thrilled to share a powerful new approach we’ve added in the office: Trigenics®—a neurologically driven method that can restore lost motion and strength in painful joints way faster than the usual “stretch it and hope” routine.


This isn’t a new gadget. It’s a smart way to talk to your nervous system so the right muscles wake up, the overprotective ones calm down, and your joints finally move the way they’re designed to.



What is Trigenics (in plain English)?


When you’re injured (or just overworked), your brain often flips into protect mode: some muscles get hyper-tight, others go offline. You feel stiff, weak, and “stuck.” Stretching the tight bits and strengthening the weak bits helps…until it doesn’t. The pattern snaps back.


Trigenics resets that pattern by combining three inputs at once (tri = three):


  1. Active movement with resistance

    • We guide your joint through specific motions while you lightly resist. This engages the exact neuromuscular circuits we want to change.


  2. Targeted sensor stimulation

    • Gentle but precise work on muscle bellies/tendons tells your brain, “Hey—pay attention here.”


  3. Breathwork (exhale timing)

    • Well-timed exhalation lowers neural “guarding” so the reset sticks.



Think of it as Ctrl-Alt-Delete for a glitchy movement pattern. When you change the neurology, the muscles finally let go/turn on—and range of motion and strength can jump immediately.


Not a promise or a cure—just what we see in the room, day after day.



Real results we’ve seen


  • Post-ACL/meniscus surgery limp (teen athlete): After months of rehab he still guarded every step. One focused Trigenics session on the knee/hip chain and within 24–48 hours the limp was gone—and we were telling him not to run yet.


  • “Hip flexor” pain from step-ups (adult): Glute wasn’t firing; hip flexors were overworking. She couldn’t hold her leg up on testing. Ten minutes later—after a reset—she could, and the next day the pain dialed way down.


  • Degenerative, painful shoulder (grandparent): Stuck for years despite “everything.” After a short series, he sent us a video…shooting hoops again.



Patterns vary, but the theme is the same: fix the neurology, and the body remembers how to move.



What conditions respond well?


  • Shoulders: Frozen shoulder, impingement, rotator cuff overload, post-op stiffness


  • Knees: Post-op protection patterns, patellofemoral pain, “it hurts on stairs,” chronic swelling


  • Hips & pelvis: Hip flexor/psoas overload, glute deactivation, gait issues


  • Feet/ankles: Collapsed arches, chronic ankle sprains feeding knee/hip trouble


We also love it for “mystery” pain that flares with simple things (reaching into the back seat, gardening, carrying groceries). Often it’s not one big injury—it’s years of micro-compensation. Trigenics helps us map and reset the whole chain.


Why this fits our philosophy


We’re obsessed (in the best way) with systems—how foot position changes knee loading, which twists your pelvis, which locks down a shoulder. (Yes, the engineering brain is loving this.) Rather than chasing symptoms, we address the pattern: feet → knees → hips → spine → shoulder.


We’ll still tag-team with physical therapy, strength work, decompression, PEMF, or our ReBuilder neuromodulation when helpful. Trigenics just makes all of that work better by removing the neurological handbrake.



What a session is like


  • Length: ~20–30 minutes of focused work


  • Feel: It’s a “hurts-so-good” pressure—intense but purposeful—and you’ll breathe through it. You’re always in control.


  • Results: Many see immediate changes in range/strength after the reset; we then “teach” the body to keep it with simple homework.


Typical shoulder “stuckness” often changes meaningfully in 4–6 visits. Your plan will be customized.

FAQs


Is this the same as massage or standard muscle work?

No—this is neurologic first. We use your breath and movement to change how the brain controls the muscle.


Will it last?

When we reset the pattern and give you the right homework, changes tend to hold. If you go back to the exact posture/load that created the issue, we’ll coach you through that too.


Does it replace PT?

It pairs beautifully with PT and strength training. Reset + reinforce = durable results.
